We are so glad that you are interested in learning more about Big Country Home Educators. Covering 10 counties and serving 25 cities, BCHE is comprised of over 200 families and serves more than 500 children. We look forward to working with you in enriching your home school experience.

Whether you are new to home schooling or a seasoned veteran, BCHE can afford you many benefits that will enrich you and your children’s home schooling experience. In addition to frequently-organized educational field trips and fun special events, members of BCHE enjoy the following benefits of membership:

· A membership discount with the Home School Legal Defense Fund and the Texas Home School Coalition

· Student Photo ID opportunity (useful for drivers ed, student discounts, SAT/ACT testing)

· 10% discount at Copies Etc.

· Rent one new release, get a catalog rental free (no limit) at Box Office Video

Our activities include, but are not limited to, our annual Back to School event in August, our Annual Family Picnic, our float in the West Texas Fair and Rodeo Parade, The Science and History Project Fair, many regular field trips, favorites like Skate and Bowl, Zoo classes, YMCA swimming and the Spelling Bee.  You will also have access to the BCHE Resource Center and access to the knowledge of veteran home schoolers if requested.
